A DVD of the short film entitled "Of Consequence" for the princely sum of... nothing?
I know, I know... it sounds too good to be true. I could barely believe it myself, when I first heard about it. Heck, I even had to look it up on Snopes to verify that it was not some urban legend! I don't see it listed there... do you?
Here's the scoop.
Rumour has it that a bunch of DVDs are being burned for the cast & crew. A lot. In fact... too many.
The man in the trenchcoat told me (after closing the flaps) that he estimates several extra DVDs will be left over from the burn-session.
Under the harsh flourescent light of the parking garage, he adjusted his dark sunglasses and continued. "Steve... I tell you straight. The most I can smuggle out of ZenWeasel Studios without them noticing is fifteen. If I can liberate these DVD refugees... can you guarantee me that you'll find a good home for them somewhere on the indie-underground-railroad?"
I stood silent a minute before replying. It's quite the commitment, I was thinking.
"I'll do it!" I replied, as resolve set in.

Here's where I need your help.
There are a total of fifteen lonely, orphaned (and soon to be liberated) DVDs looking for a good home. I'm not sure how the Mason-Dixon line comes into play here, but they need a safehouse of any kind.
The infiltration will take place on October 1st (whatever you do, don't spill the beans to the Studio) and the DVDs need to be on their way to a friendly hideout the same day.
If you think you can find safe harbour for these innocent silver discs of storytelling... please, PM me posthaste with a destination.
I'm not going to do a Sally Struthers and weep for the poor things while munching on chocolate bon-bons...
...but, please. Think of the discs.
There are only fifteen of them... and they must be saved.
