Long time lurker (in fits and starts) finally coming out so that I can thank the IndieTalk community for all kinds of insights and useful info!
Currently living in central France, I'm one of those "none of the above" people - have been interested in all things cinematographic from a very young age, but have never settled into any kind of a groove. Now seriously thinking about changing that, but still haven't figured out the how, what or when. Something collaborative or "open source" is the most likely: at the very least, it'd give me a chance to put to good use the knowledge, ideas and equipment I've stored up in case they might come in handy some day!
