editing Fixing audio tracks

I've got some audio tracks with only voice-over and the S's are really hissy/squeaky. What's the best way to dialt hem down in Audacity. I don't se a filter just for that, so I messed with Low Pass and EQ'ing the high end down. Sometimes it kinda works, sometimes not.

Ideas?

do you have a de-noise plug in? From what you say, it sounds like an EQ high cut would fix it? Usually the case with hiss.... If that doesn't work, then yes a de-esser will help you get more selective with the high frequencies you want to suppress.
