First time shooting a night scene

I'm not exactly a newbie to filmmaking, but as for night filming, I have no experience whatsoever and the thought of it scares me to death. So I'm trying to figure out the best way to go about doing this. Any advice would be appreciated...

The location is a construction site (it is pitch black with no lighting equipment). The look I want to achieve is the actors appearing as if they are lit by moonlight.

The camera I have is a Panasonic GV-320. Consumer grade, doesn't generally do well in low light.

I'm also looking into the day-for-night technique but I'm afraid this will look amateur.

Anyone know the essential lighting set up to achieve this effect?

The whole rest of the movie is looking really good, and I'd hate to blow it with the final scene.

Thanks!
