Does anyone know of a popular German site that people use to network in Germany or maybe the EU? I am trying to find someone that would like to use our documentary as a learning experience while assisting us on our production. Any leads or ideas are appreciated.

I'm not sure about web sites but I think you'd get the most/best results by calling German film schools directly and see what they suggest. This is probably something you should do anyway if you're planning on only compensating them with school credit.
And who knows, maybe the school will be willing to help out more directly by sending students directly to you.
