Finding actors/actresses

So, I just completed a script I intend to shoot, but I need actors and actresses. This would be my first time actually shooting with actors/actresses and would like any tips in seeking them out and how to hold auditions?

This has been discussed in the past so you might want to do a search on the forum for this topic.

Some of the highlights are checking with local colleges and theatre groups, acting schools, craigslist, or some of the other internet sites. It will depend on whether paid or not, union or not. You can rent a place or try maybe a local library or other social organization.
