When I was putting together the State Film Incentives list I noticed some states, at their discretion, may waive the location fee for filming in their parks - especially if the park is portrayed favorably.
Just thought I'd lump here some additional info:
Commercial Filming and Still Photography Permits http://home.nps.gov/applications/digest/permits.cfm?urlarea=permits
Movies Filmed on National Park Lands
http://usparks.about.com/blmovies-kp.htm
Find Permits & Rules in your own State:
http://www.webcrawler.com/search/we...tate parks&fcoid=4&fcop=results-bottom&fpid=2
Or go National:
