If anyone is planning to film in Ottawa, I have 7 years of acting experience and will work for cheep or free.

Haha, yes I thought so... you know, most non- canadians I've met think Toronto is the capital lol! And some have never even heard of Ottawa. Ah well... looks like no one here is from around Ottawa or at least no one is filming here... sigh :(

I know what you mean. I lived in Ontario for twelve years and whenever I would come back to the States I was sure to hear "Ontario, where's that?"
But hey don't give up on your search!
