I'm here to announce a fairly secret project called FilmCowboys.com --headed up by indie film director, Rod McCall --If you don't know the name, you might know his films:
LEWIS & CLARK & GEORGE
CHEATIN' HEARTS
--and several more listed at IMDB.
FilmCowboys.com is currently in production of creating film reviews for online streaming video. There's a lot of serious Hollywood interest in the project. In fact, we had the opportunity to put the show on a cable channel and we declined.
We have a GLUT of mainstream Hollywood and Indie films that we're reviewing however, our good friend, FilmJumper, thought it might be a good idea if every once in a while, we review a not so well known indie film that nobody knows about. We think it's a good idea too.
With that being said, the reason we went for the web instead of television is because these reviews are very hardcore. We are blatantly honest. If your film is shit, we'll tell you AND THE WORLD that it's shit. But hey, what if it's not?
Lots of industry people will be watching our reviews --hell, they are already sending us their films! We are still working out many of the logistics but rest assured, we will have them worked out within a few months.
Rod McCall lives on a huge piece of beautiful desert land in Southern New Mexico. Occasionally, he has some very famous people stop by his home and stay for awhile. Many of these people have already asked to be guest reviewers for the show. One such person who just came by for a visit is Martin Sheen. Several other actors will be coming by and reviewing as well. As I said, there's definitely a lot of interest.
We cannot guarantee that we will review your film and we will not be able to return it to you whether we review your film or not. But you never know.
If you think this might interest you, stop by our site. We are not officially launched. That won't happen for awhile but we do want your films if you're willing to send us one.
