Is there a such thing as a "web-series festival" or something of the like?

Something similar to a film festival where somebody could submit a web-series in attempt to promote it or sell it or something?

Just a question
 
I've never heard of one. It would be very difficult to do this as it is essentially a tv series, where the episodes together are likely to add up to several hours (I understand though that web series are more often than not limited to 10min episodes). Perhaps there is a pilot episode one
 
I voiced some characters in a web-series that screened at GenCon in 2011. They showed the first six episodes in a row, out of the 20-ish episodes. Obviously, the screening ended as a cliffhanger.

So, the answer to your question is... apparently, yes.

I suspect, like most festivals, you'd first have to have something they'd be interested in to start with.
 
i figured i'd take this thing i'm working on to some festivals, but if it isn't made clear that it isn't a film, but a web-series, it might confuse some audiences
