Hello!

Im new to the forum so excuse me if i do something wrong.

Me and my crew are currently working on this mockumentary project about a guy who hasnt been able to smile his whole life. We've only published a teaser as of this date but I would really appreciate some feedback on it, and the concept itself.

Well I hope its a comedy because for some reason it make me laugh : )

I guess a mockumentary is supposed to be funny?
 
The problem I have with this teaser is that it gives us ZERO indication of the story. None whatsoever. Okay, so we got the character, but not even a glimpse of the story?

Of course I don't know, but I can't help but wonder if this is because the teaser was shot before the actual film has been made. I've never understood why people do that. If all you've got is 40-seconds (which is a long time) of a dude sitting in a chair, talking about the fact that he can't smile, interspersed with a small handful of photos, I don't see how that actually helps promote your film.
