FCP7: Keep Source QT in one Directory?

I'm starting to edit a 15 minute short and I have a question about directory structure.

I've made all my selects (and alts). I'm about to rename the files and transcode them from ProRes HQ to ProRes Proxy.

Is there any good reason why I shouldn't dump all my selects in a single directory? It would make conforming back to ProRes HQ much simpler. I'll still sort the bins per scene but on the hard drive they'd all live in the same place. Sorta like this:

VIDEO:
Sc-1_Tk-1_MSTR
Sc-1a_Tk-2_CU
Sc-1a_Tk-5_CU_ALT
Sc-1b_Tk-2_FS
Sc-1c_Tk-5_OTS
... and so on.

I've done quite a bit of reading on this subject, and several tutorials suggest this method. Anyone foresee a problem with organizing a short like this?

Thanks.
