Elmo R-1 Synchronizer schematic

Hi - I'm new to this board. My name is Bobby and I like to shoot Super 8 film. Recently I acquired an Elmo DR-1 sound recorder for my Elmo 110r. In order to sync with my Elmo ST-1200, I need a schematic of the R-1. I've tried locating an R-1 but I haven't been able to since I was outbid for one on eBay months back. I'd like to build one (with my dad who's an electrical engineer :)). If anyone can help me - please send me an email.

Thanks in advance

This isn't crystal sync, this is sync pulse technology so even if you get it working, where are you going to get it resolved?

The tape recorder is the main part of this system. It syncs the camera motor to it's own so that they both record at the same speed, the tape recorder then is syncs the projector. This was for the home movie making market so it's an all in one system. Resolving is necessary when using a two track recorder with your pulse signal on 1 track, sound on the 2nd. This is a mono recorder connected motor to motor governed by a pulse generator. The synchronizer just controls the tape speed and projector speed to line up the sound a picture. I believe this is called pilot tone sync.
