I've been looking up how to do a few different camera tricks, and I thought I'd try my hand at this....

All I did was just set the camera still and swap the two, and cut the video together. Is that the correct way to do this trick? Or is there a better method?

Yep. That's the easy way to do it. I'm guessing you pressed the record button, in-between shots? Don't do that. Just leave it recording, and keep everything consistent, including lighting. In-between your two shots, there was slight camera-movement, and it's noticeable. I don't know if you pressed the record button, but if you didn't something caused the camera to move. Just press record once, and leave it rolling, for both shots.

Oh ok, thanks. You wouldn't happen to know what this little camera trick is called would you? I spent some time trying to look for tips on how to do it, but I just didn't know what to look for.
