Heya,
Names Rob, I'm a first time documentarian film-maker and currently working on an independent feature project which I'm stupidly excited about.
I'd been fortunate enough to stumble across a digital video camera in 2008, and which then basically took over my entire life, haha. I've learn an incredible amount in the time since, with regards to filming techniques, editing software and basically just my own style, and where my heart lies I guess.
With it transpiring into the construction of a feature length film and with learning something valuable every step of the way, it's really quite hard to express verbally (or in text) just how amazing this entire experience has been, is!!
Anyways, I figured a forum such as this may have other individuals sharing similar thoughts.
FYI - I currently shoot with the CanonA1, edit FCP 6
I also recently acquired a nice Super 8 which I can't wait to explore.
Look forward to chatting,
RbH
