Several years ago (2003-2004ish) I watched an independent short film about literary characters that had been written out of books and off shows. Seemed like it premiered on Sundance at one point, was also online. The characters ended up "in limbo" (a trailer) and disappeared when their creator decided to write them back. The plot centered around the interactions between the characters. It was maybe 30 minutes long, comedy/drama. Anyone know the title?

This is driving me NUTS. Tell me if you have the answer...
