Hey guys, just wanted to share a video of some tripod modifications I made to a cheap tripod of mine. Maybe some of you will find it useful.

Ha, yeah when I set my T3i with the grip on it, I can see the head bend a bit. It's ok as just a tripod in my house, but its a bit wobbly at the legs and actually using it as a steadicam in anything other then my home gives me a willies, haha. Im sure it would probably be alright if I took the grip off.

That was cool, Chad. I especially liked the speeded up end part with audio. It was like you were tearing down and rebuilding an M-60 machine gun. :lol:

I can tell, it was a long winter, brother. Congrats on the T3i.

Haha, thanks! Winter isn't over either! With March its in like a lamb, out like a lion. So we will probably end up with a blizzard in the last week of march/beginning of april. That's not the only thing I've been working on over the last few weeks :) My next DIY, if things work out correctly that is, should draw a lot of attention. :cool:
