Director Aaron Kirk’s Short Film “Night Job” Offers Hope In A World Of Darkness.
Film Title: Night Job
Director: Aaron Kirk
Producer(s): Jason Baumgardner, Aaron Kirk
Cast: Dennis O’Neill, Gabriel Lawrence, Catherine Gutting-Baumgardner, and Jason Baumgardner
SHORTFILMTEXAS (SFT): Where was your film “Night Job” shot? What is it about?
Aaron Kirk (AK): The film was shot entirely in Georgetown, Texas, just north of Austin, Texas. Scratch that, there are a few pickup shots that were shot somewhere in the D/FW area. Those were just the shots of the wanted posters flapping in the wind. Picked those up during editing.
Night Job is about two men. A talented, intense, but troubled young man with a highly developed sense of justice and an ailing ex-detective who join forces in pursuit of vigilante crime fighting. Kevin, the young man, has already been trying to fight crime as the movie starts and asks the seasoned vet, Martin, to show him the ropes in exchange for Kevin finding the men who attacked Martin’s daughter.
