Your demo reel is not for something specific like cinematographer or editor .Every frame is something different .

If you're a cinematographer make reel only for cinematorgaphy ,not everything ,because if you're applying for DP nobody cares about your short films as a director .

And the production quality varies hugely - from ESPN (very high quality) to budget shorts.

The two do not mix well.
