Deinterlacing in Permiere 4.

I'm trying to deinterlace the video footage, and it works out well in the preview monitor, but as soon as export the whole sequence into MOV file, and play it back on VLC or QuickTime, I can see the video been interlaced again..

The footage has been originally recorded 30fps, interlaced.

Interpret the footage with field order being "Conform to Upper Field First"
Field options are "Always Deinterlace"

Export the footage in QuickTime format, video codec DV/NTSC 24p, quality 100

Any tips?? :(

EDIT

Will try export as avi with DV(24p Advanced) codec...

In my version of premiere (cs3) you have to check the little "deinterlace" box on the top of output tab of the media encoder window to render deinterlace.. YMMV.
