Instead of stretching the picture you should have just found decent 1.78:1 framing. Good script and dialogue though. But better photography with more interesting locations would have elevated it.
 
Thanks for the input man. It's been awhile since somebody commented on something of mine, and this time it was an actual helpful comment. I will work on the critiques to become better. Thank you!
