FCPX 10.0.8 is a joke, at least for me anyway it leaks too much ram memory causing it to crash when applying an effect or anything the only way I can control it is by turning off render in background the render each clip bit by bit manually.

Also good to know. I'm eagerly awaiting the launch of lightworks with baited breath... although, final cut 7 seems to still work, even after X was released - so I may flog that, color, motion, soundtrack pro and Shake for quite some time yet

I don't get why the people who use AE also use FCP. Why not just stay with Adobe ?
