I wanted to know if anyone has or knows where I can find plans to build a jib arm/ crane? Anything would be useful.

Also, www.cinevid.com I don't know if he (Bill Johns) has the plans on the site, but he has schematics of jibs and dollies that he offers up to anyone who wants them.

Thought Id interject here and say jibs and cranes are NOT toys and should not be operated unless you fully understand their operation and become highly familiar with their use through hands on practicing and hopefully you can find someone who has used one to show you the ins and outs. These are heavy pieces of metal or other material and can seriously injure an actor or a crew member on the set if used or stowed improperly.
