editing Coverting 30 to 24fps in After Efgects CS6

Anyone know how to convert 30 fps video to 24fps using After Effects CS6? I have viewed the tutorial at videopiolot.com but the Andrew Kramer template it follows is for CS7 and isn't working correctly in CS6. If you know of a better or easier way please let me know. And if it also includes a way tonsync the audio, it'd be a blessings. Thanks!

Why not use Adobe Media Encoder, or even Handbrake, instead?

I guess there must be a reason to use AEFX over those, but I dunno what that would be offhand.

I guess I hadn't thought about that. I'm very unfamiliar with both however. But if you a simple and / or effective way to do it, I'll be more than happy to try. Thanks.

If I remember right, part of the latest upgrade to CS CC updated the engine to help with this. It'd be worth checking out if you want to get a better output.

You should be able to right click the footage in the project window and select "interpret footage" or something like that. A window pops and you can change the frame rate to whatever you like.
