cost if running a trailer at cinemas?

hi guys, just doing a little research on film trailers and wondering if anyone had any information about costs associated with having your trailer airing before movies? I'm assuming it varies per movie/cinema but a is there a rough guide price?

cheers in advance

I'm no expert on the subject, but my understanding is that the trailers come attached with the movie. The theater has no say in what trailer screens before which movie.

Perhaps you can find a theater that shows commercials before movies (most of them do), and buy commercial time, but your commercial is in the form of a trailer? Not as cool, I know, but maybe it could be beneficial?

if you were taking Cracker's approach, it's best to think that they would charge more for a full trailer, than for a 30 second commercial (teaser)

Best to have several versions prepared

The text says that the theater charges to have the trailer shown. Doesn't mean this is true though.
