Regarding my previous post about transferring from regular digital video to other formats (for festivals)--- I got more specific information---
OK, here's what the festival application says:
Preferred Exhibition Format:
1.) 35mm film projection.
2.) 16mm film projection
3.) Digital Video Projection---must be presented in Sony HDCam Video 1080i/60i
My question: Is this Sony HDCam video the same as what Beeblbrox referred to as an "HD blow-up" for around $1500-2000 ? Or is it something different? I just want to gauge how expensive this is going to be, should I miraculously get accepted. (My movie was shot with regular Mini-DV.)
