Composer here. (with enthusiasm)

My name is John, and I'm about to start second year of music degree. My music is a mixture of orchestral instruments with industrial synthesisers and electronic percussion, I have also worked with several singers and rappers. I am a pianist and violinist and I also have access to vocalists and instrumentalists who I will be able to bring into the studio.

My biggest influences when it comes to soundtrack composition are Akira Yamaoka and Jesper Kyd, and my aim is to conjure up as profound an atmosphere as they are able to create; whether it be dark and disturbed or soaring and beautiful.

I'm happy to work with any style, any content and any rules, as long as what you give me inspires me enough to compose- I want to last at least a few more years before my creativity and soul dies.

Have a listen and get in touch if you're interested.

I thought it would be sensible to update my thread here, as I have been working a lot on new material for my portfolio over the last month.

So firstly, I wrote scores for two of the students in Film Studies at my university.

Lonely Ghost Trailer
Katapa

And I've just finished material for two more short films, and am broadening my horizons a little by working on a soundtrack for a game mod.

I've also been working hard on a website, battling hard against by inability to understand any part of web design.

My second year of university is over on Friday the 25th so I'm looking for new projects to make some music for. I'll be in India from the end of June until September, and will be able to work hard on whatever I'm given. :)
