My new DP is worried that my WD Passport 700Gig Hard Drive may have issues with his system. He has a Panasonic HVX200 and uses a Mac Laptop.
I tested my drive on my Windows Vista Dual Core Portable Workstation and it works fine.
He said 4 previous clients have had issues with WD drives. In over 20 years, I've never had issues with WD drives.
He does not know what sort of computer systems his other clients were using, but I suspect they are all PC users who don't know they should have Mac Opener installed on their PCs to read all Mac files. I already have Windows system driver software for the Panasonic HVX200 install on my computer as well and driver SW for Sony Vegas Pro.
Just to make him feel better, I think I'll bring along my Seagate 1.5TB External Hard Drive that is physically twice as big as the WD Passport and requires and external Power Supply, unlike the WD drive that gets its power from the USB2 /3 port.
I believe I have all the bases covered.
