Clothing Brands..

Hi All,

Just a thought that never occurred to me, my videos are going to be online mostly, so i wasn't sure if wearing branded clothing was a big issue? a lot of people I'm working with, will want to wear their own clothing but if brands are going to be a problem then i don't want them wearing any obvious brands that show out, this is for a series of episodes.

Thanks

It's very common to remove logos & other identifiable brands, sure.

Turning liquor bottles sideways in a bar scene; reversing bags of chips at grocery store scenes; removing creditcard logos at cash-register scenes... and certainly with identifiable clothing brands.

Have some blue Nike's with a white "swoosh" symbol? Blue magic marker takes care of that.
Little alligator symbol on the shirt? Easy enought to remove or cover.

There's even companies that make similar-looking branded items, to be used as props. Cans of soda with an almost-but-not-quite dynamic swirl that looks like Coca Cola? No problem.

In the greater scheme of things, if you're making little noone-sees-'em web videos it might not really matter.

Sure would suck to have an accidental hit viral sensation that Pepsi insists damages from, though.

Nothing wrong with crossing the T's and dotting the I's on even smaller gigs.
