China for replication

Hi guys, just looking at quotes for dvd replication and here in the UK the best I've found for the full package (replication, dvd cases, printing and shrink wrap) is around £1-1.70 per unit. However, I was bored and thought I'd have a look on Alibaba (not the most reputable site, I know) but from what I've seen some of the businesses in China are offering these services are around 10-15 cents per disc.

My question is, have any of you guys thought about or used a company from China to get your stock? and how do you think the quality (dvd picture and printing) would compare to local businesses?

That's an interesting idea. I'm afraid I don't have an answer to your question, but I'm curious to hear if anyone does.

With the conversion-rate, that would be a saving, no? Not sure how much of those savings would be eaten up in shipping, though (shipping cost me $240).
