Cheap JIB option ?

Are there any options of getting a good jib ? I really need it for some shots and I was thinking of getting the Kessler Crane , but with the tripod it costs about 1.7k and in my country , this is A LOT .

Are there any cheap options of getting a good jib ? I watched some tests for a Pro Am Jib , but they looked somehow shaky . Maybe it's the operator ? I don't know .

Is anyone using these Pro Am jibs ?

First and foremost:

What kind of camera are you going to be mounting on it?

There are some interesting Kickstarter campaigns for cheap jibs, and some cheaper jibs around - and as knightly recommends you could technically build one yourself.
But if you need to mount something heavier than say a DSLR, then you're going to have to invest in something a little better, sturdier, etc.

You could quite easily put a 7D on a DIY jib, but I wouldn't put a Scarlet, for example, on a DIY jib.
