For some reason, I dont see a page number on the side of the online Celtx program when when I'm writing my screenplay. Am I not looking in the right spot or is there not even a page number on there?
Prett sure in the offline version you have to turn something on to make page numbers appear. I've not used the online version but perhaps it needs to be turned on too?
I've never used the online version, but offline you have to format your script as a PDF for page numbers to show up, otherwise it ends up as essentially one long page.
If you're on Windows or Linux, download Trelby. It's basically a free version of Final Draft, including page numbers as you work without Typesetting. If you're on Mac, sorry dude.
If you're using the online version, you have to pay to upgrade to a higher version to download your script to a PDF format. Otherwise, if you're using the free downloadable program, you need to format it as a PDF and you can view the page count.
