camera JAM!

welp, i started shooting my first roll on my k3, all was going well, ive shot about 1/3 of the film. When i changed the fps from 24 up to 32, it jammed. I fiddled a little bit and got it to run a little bit more but it didnt sound right, and then it totally froze up again. So my question is, what the heck should i do, should i try and open it up and get it runnign again and risk exposing my film, or shoudl i just salvage what i have and send it out? Quite a bummer, so any help woudl be apreciated, thanks in advance

Open in a changing bag or dark room.

What El Presidente said. You might lose 5 meters in the middle of the film but check all of the threading and your loops to see if they are right. It would be important to understand why it jammed.

I should add: its important that you make your loops just right you know, not too tight but not flopping around.
