However, the fact you're asking for full scripts (not queries) without any signed wavers beforehand has me a bit concerned about your professionalism.

Actually, established production companies don't require signed waivers. Hollywood professionals know that script theft is largely a myth.

While you're correct that script theft is, by and large, a myth, law suits for script theft are very real and on the rise. Most major prodcos that I've queried or read their submission FAQ's (including a few that asked to read my full script), insist on a signed waver accompanying the script.

I'm sure there are some who do not require it, just as I'm sure there are many people who drive with their car insurance expired.

I'll take your word for it. For the past 7 years or so my scripts have gone through my rep and waivers are never requested. The query protocol may very well have changed in the meantime.
