cinematography Bulb Vendor

I just purchased my first lighting kit and I'd love to hear where seasoned lighting guru's purchase their bulbs.

The kit came with:

GE EMD Q750T3/4 750 watt Halogen
GE EHC 88628 500 watt Halogen
Osram GY9.5 base 500 watt
Osram GX5.3 base 200 watt

Any input would be appreciated.

If those are typical halogen bulbs, you can pick most of them up at Home Depot or equiv. (Though they didn't have 1k's last time I was there).

The sad part is I don't even know if they are typical. I better get my lazy butt down to Home depot with the bulb box to find out. The GE bulbs have stage/studio and "showbiz" printed on the box, but this may be a marketing deal, or it may indicate a specialty product. This is why I love this forum. Somebody will chime in sooner or later that eats this stuff for breakfast.

I don't recognise any of the bulb names on your list, but eBay has always seemed to be the cheapest source for me

Amazon ...after I find some #'s on Adorama... then go to Amazon, not all vendors use the same #
