Oh that's interesting. I looked it up. Seems like Wikipedia has become another good source for film info.
The Wikipedia article on Blow Out says that Blow Out "recalls" Blow Up. And its article on Blow Up says that Blow Out "alludes" to Blow Up.

Cool, when and if I see Blow Up I'll definately be trying to catch Michael Palin's cameo.

Great film Blow Out. Actually re-watched it only a few months ago. Must put Blow Up on my to do list too.
