They happen to almost everyone: those little onscreen/behind the scene befuddlements that make us laugh at ourselves in our attempts to make film. What's your favorite/the funniest thing that has happened to you or one of your actors that ended up on the cutting room floor?
For me:
Yesterday, I was helping a friend shoot a just for fun zombie film. I was playing the sheriff. There was this one scene where I had to turn to the two city boys and say ominously, "We cross the river..." I held my shot gun above my head in the way soldiers do, starting wading into the water, and promptly fell on my ass. John (director/cameraman) couldn't stand he was laughing so hard.
