Best way to send big files / footage to someone?

How much footage? A lot of people use dropbox. I personally find it to be a little wonky. Depending on how much footage, I'm actually kinda fond of wetransfer. If you have access to a server, FTP transfer is unquestionably the fastest way to do it online.
 
Please define 'huge'.

Are we talking about 30GB of rushes from a weekend shoot on 5D, or 1TB of footage from a 5-day RED Epic shoot?
 
When in doubt, you could always mail physical media. Just make sure to get it back and figure the cost (media and/or shipping) into your budget.
