Best Sound Effects?

Hi Everyone,

Not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this question, but just wanted to see if anyone knows the best place to get high quality sound effects. I went to some website, forgot the name, bought a "gunshot" effect, and it sounded "alright," but then when we were editing and imported the effect, it sounded cheesy, and then when I saw it on DVD, I couldn't help but laugh. I really need a GOOD quality gunshot effect. Does anyone know where I can find one or a website with high quality sound effects?
