Trying to shoot a green screen outside? Sure, sounds easy..until I realized I didn't have enough of it, and it was too windy. Each scene was half green screen and half manually rotoscoped..
Just wanted to share with everyone what I ve been doing for the last week.

The masks/mattes still have to be cleaned up, but hopefully you ll get a rough idea of what is going on

Yea, it's been a shoot from hell haha
Oh well, gave me an good practice to rotoscope and ding around with various after effects keying settings.

All in all this was an extremely valuable chroma key shoot.

Glad you guys like it! More to come. Getting my octopus this mid week, so I can play around with the 3d model as well.
