archived-vidoes Bad Sequel Ideas: Star Wars (Ft. "Carrie Fisher")

Feedback is appreciated :)

Join a naive fanboy in his spaceship, for a journey through his world of lackluster creativity.

In this weekly show, my character comedically presents to you a list of sequel ideas for popular movies that should never EVER EVER ever ever EVER be made into real movies. Enjoy this wonderful piece of hypothetical comedy!

I'm particularly proud of THIS episode, I think it's really funny, well-made, and you should definitely enjoy it, unless of course you're a piece of human garbage. Then you won't like it.

I didn't realize they uploaded the new trailer until a few minutes ago. Hopefully this works out to my advantage :)

Amusing! Definitely getting stronger. Beginning to 'get there.'

If I may offer a critique as someone who admires what you do: This stuff is stronger than anything else you've put out but not quite 'real world' strong. It'll play fine in front of film makers and your friends but needs to go up a level for the real world out there. No idea what that level is as I'm not a comedian but from your progress, I'm convinced you're on the right track.

I need a name for this character. Something strong, memorable and descriptive, like "The Naive Fanboy" (not what I want to name him, just an example.)

I'm getting too many people online thinking this is actually me, my opinions, or the way I behave.

Plus, naming the character should help with branding the show.

Does anyone have any ideas to get me started on this?

in this case tightening the edit isn't the solution, since there are not many cuts. I think it''s a bit too slowpaced at times. But I guess that is your style :)

BTW, the opening with the spaceship should have been like the opening of A new hope: entering as a fly-over :P

I think it''s a bit too slowpaced at times...

This is exactly what I mean. The shots are held for too long (for my tastes). At times, I think to myself: OK, I've got the joke and it's funny, now there's tumbleweed, move onto the next. Cut it here, stop going on because too much is literally too much.

Need to tighten by cutting the sequences more ruthlessly.

Just my opinion which, again, could be nonsense.
