Ok, so with classes all online for the rest of this semester and next semester, I've been catching up on some movies that have been on my list. One of them, and yes I can already hear the groans of disapproval, is Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell. I absolutely love the Tremors storyline, as hilarious and bad the movies are. Anyways, I was watching this film earlier today and there were some arctic scenes. Thanks to some film classes and playing around with filters on my own this semester, along with how the "snow" responded to the footsteps, I thought it looked like those scenes were shot in the Desert. Turns out after a quick search, I was right.
I was wondering if anybody knew any other films who have done tricks like this or similar? Turning environments into completely different ones due to budget or restrictions in travel?
