cinematography Anyone use a JibOne camera crane?

I look at that design and think somethings missing.. seems like there should be some bars connecting the two long ones.. what keeps them from rotating in opposite directions? sure the pivot points stop it, but I cant help be see that design as being very wobbly..

I have one we could never get to work. They advise you to get a battery powered monitor as well to see what the camera is picture framing. We made great use of the battery powered monitor for both indoor and outdoor shooting so I could see what the DP was doing with the camera.

The JibOne crane came in this weekend. I played with it for a few days. It is a very decent unit.

It was surprisingly light weight, simple, and cool smooth shots.

I would recommend.

interesting, I'm more looking fro a JIB not so much a crane.... I could be off on my definition, but i want to be on the end where the camera is, and the jib simply holds the camera where I position it in space. sort of like a steady cam but limited in range..
