I have a feature film at Netflix, HORRORS OF WAR, but I didn't make the deal, my distributor did.
Right now, their business model is killing the old one. You used to have a n indie movie and you'd sell thousands of copies to go to individual stores. Now they can buy a few dozen copies and have it at hubs and make sure that demand is only for the big name movies. Having success as an independent movie with no name stars is pretty hard to achieve in today's home video market.
