I'm from London, kinda starting out too. Written about 11 scripts, made about 2 short films, edited various others. Only interested in doing unique projects the likes of which have never really been done before. Planning for debut project to be a low budget horror feature, already got great feedback from Philip Shelley at Channel 4. If you're interested, let me know.

Composer in UK wanting to make short films

Hey man just read your post and I'm looking for the same thing as you except I'm a composer. I've been writing classical music including a piano concerto and a string quartet as well as smaller stand alone pieces, but recently I've been looking for collaborators to start making films together. I want to write bespoke scores for good projects, and we can grow as artists together. Writing music for film is all about helping the director realise their vision in ways that draw attention to the best parts of their film, and patch up the weaker parts. To be honest I'm getting bored of doing things on my own and want to be part of a team. Anyways hope to hear back from you Luke, thanks :)

I'm a UK based composer (south west) and would love to get involved with your short film. I've previously succeeded in scoring competitions, with my music being played by professional ensembles. I've had experience working with directors before (particularly in a theatre/drama based environment) and it would be great to work with you too!

Musically I can work in a range of styles to suit what you'd like. If you also wanted another hand in the script, I'd be happy to help with that too - writing's another interest of mine.

Hey Luke and Co, I am also looking haha. Thought it was all USA people but found your post, done loads of stuff for years and just looking to collaborate.

I have been to Reading in past but based in North East UK aswell. Are yous on a Facebook group or something?
