Anyone have a documentary idea?

Hey all,
Was wondering if anyone has a great idea for a documentary or a story that that are just itching to be made into a short doc? I am a student in Los Angles (burbank/media district area) and our class was given a doc assignment. If you have any thoughts we are totally open to them

I'm gonna let you do your own homework, but this might help you get started.

Documentary subjects tend to be nouns. By that I mean they are about a person, place, thing or idea. Think in those terms:
-Is there a person that is doing something or on some sort of journey or has a story to tell?
-Is there a place with an interesting history or something they (the store, natl. park, etc) are doing that's interesting?
-Is there a thing, an object, that has a history? Perhaps a family's heirloom?
-What about an idea? Can the world be a better place? Can the protesters in OccupyLA actually accomplish anything?

The thing about documentaries is that they are all about subjective manipulation. If you know what you're doing, you can make a docu about paint drying and it would be interesting.
