I have a question on this camera A-cam dII - The camera loves you | A-cam dII | Products | Ikonoskop
www.ikonoskop.com i want to know if anyone has used it. thier thoughts about a camera that just shoots raw 1080p and lets you worry about all the effects and color in post?

Wanted to get my hands on this so bad back in the day. =[

The delays, etc, have been appalling, and apparently people aren't being refunded their down payments, etc.

I seriously hope they deliver, mostly because of the CCD based system. Their flavor of RAW's a bit too heavy for my taste (REDCODE's just more efficient), but being able to negate the unwanted properties of CMOS sensors (mostly, for me, that would be being able to shoot under tungsten values without increasing signal to noise ratio) is pretty awesome.

The post process isn't much more intense when dealing with RAW, but the installation of proper computing power (see: octo core workstations) needs to be there.
