Hi crew,
XL2 on it's way into my hands but my computer concerns are growing. What does everyone recommend as far as PC specs to make life easy in post?

All I know is that the 64 Bit processor using Windows XP Pro can handle the extra memory extremely well. While the software isn't specifically 64 bit, the cpu is able to dole out lots of memory when needed and manage it really well i.e., let you open other programs, surf the web, etc. without crashing. Much better than my 32 bit system.

Importing to your c: drive will likely result in dropped frames and stuttering video..

Is that the same with importing to a macs hard drive?

I'd recommend it for any system, Mac or PC. Keep your media drive and your system drive seperate.
