Antihero in SoCal Film Fest

Those two were very good together. I totally believed them in their roles. Made me wonder how close their characters were to their real selves.

Brian, in real life, is pretty similar to Pork Rind, as far as mannerisms are concerned. Pork Rind's dialogue is very Joseph-y, though, and Brian got all nerdy for this role. The ribs-for-breakfast scene, with the bit about kids drinking water -- that's the real Brian.

Joe, in real life, is absolutely NOTHING like Weezie. Brian is a comedian (stand-up), wheras Joe is more of a method actor -- real big in Shakespeare, and that kind of stuff. It was really fun, actually, watching Joe step into his role every day. Even while going over lines, to himself, you could see him change his posture, slow down his mannerisms, relax his facial expressions -- a real big transformation, actually.
