Paris here, I'm a music video director from London. About 6 months ago I genuinely got sick to the bone of the music video industry to a point where I almost started to feel resentment towards my own craft. I was hating everything I was making so I decided to break away from doing music videos and make a self funded music film (currently in post production). I felt there wasn't enough solid 'how to's' when it came to self funded projects so I decided to write an in depth blog on spilling the beans on the very beginnings of pre-production, production and post. It's still on going but I hope this helps and encourages anyone thinking of doing a self funded project.
